Poulnabrone Dolmen

The Burren, Ireland
Built from the flat limestone plates which surround it, the Poulnabrone Dolmen (portal tomb) seems from above to be like an organic extrusion of the landscape rather than a Neolithic funerary monument. Due to its iconic stature and resulting streams of visitors, close access to the monument is prohibited by rope barriers. Thus most of the eye-level views were accomplished using the drone; the ropes were removed in processing.
